Do you know who Expats are? The people who move from their homeland to the other country or destination for a long time. I want to live that life sometimes but not able to do that practice because I have family and everything is settled here in our homeland. Currently, I’m looking for a perfect Summer Holiday Break and more interested to get to Agadir’s most prestigious beach resorts. People look for different activities but I do need rest from my very stuck life.
Are you a beginner in travelling and want to experience an ex-pat life?
Tips to have Perfect Expat experience:
It’s Not That Simple – Do Research:
So did you decide where are you going? This is the first step. Then you will have to know the conditions of living on the destination you are heading to. How will your residence, where you will live for the ex-pat period? What are the norms and culture of the area? What currency works there and how it relates to your home currency. What will you be doing there all your time? These are the very important questions you should consider before leaving your home.
Cultural Shock? This is Just a little idea:
You can tackle this very easily, why so worried? Cultural shock is not fatal or belongs to any class of Dracula which scares people. There is some ice we have to break first. We have developed so many stereotypes about the place far from us and people living there are aliens for us. This stereotype would have to be understood and vanished in life. And the very same way I removed my stereotypes about different locations, and now I love travelling to strange destinations. I have travelled more than 55 countries in the world and that gave me the courage to hunt for more. How? Because I don’t have the reluctance to accept different cultures and social norms of the people living abroad. Can you do the same? Let me help you.
- you are going to visit your next experience.
- Without being accepting, and open-minded, you can’t change yourself. So be patient, and accepting about new things.
- Learn How to communicate, make new friends and bonds in the new place. Avoid clashes.
- Find activities there. You should find the activities at the destination so you can stay there longer.

Confirm the Expiry Date of Your Visa/ Passport:
First check that you have a passport for at least 5, 10 years duration. If its expiry is near, you should renew it from the passport office in your city. You also should know the dates of your visa, its nature, and its limitations. It is important to understand it on the time rather than having regrets later. Pack your passport, ticket, and visa in a special packing so the documents remain safe and easily accessible.
Online Banking and Work stuff are Recommended:
If I dream is to ex-pat, I would wish that everything of mine which is already running convert to the online material so I can deal with them from anywhere in the world. Even I want my job to be writing and putting online from wherever I’m. This independence is needed and It should be a dream for every ex-pat. Practice this dream, do something to have online banking, at least with the good limit. And all the utility bills, credits, and transactions should be online. That will provide you with ease in your life. And also try to find freelance works. If you get the way to find the work online, you will be able to manage your life being solo. Later, if you want to invite your family to the new destination, it would not be a great deal for you.
Live at the Busy Place First:
I moved to London’s busy place from the faraway town which was not very metropolitan. My life changed here. Now I move and live in the busy areas in the world to be safe and have everything around. Even in Marrakech, which is a busy city in Morocco, we stayed near Djema el Fna, a centre of the city with great charms and delights. Then we could be able to enjoy our time in the towns like Chefchouen and Agadir’s beachy cityside.
So if you are interested in living your life as an ex-pat, you should go and try to explore the new colours of life.
