Nabeel and his dad, Mr Ajmal Shaikh, had recently moved to Bangalore, on account of Nabeel getting admission to pursue higher studies. 16-year-old Nabeel had got an excellent score and after a fantastic group discussion and individual interview round, he was thrilled beyond imagination to get through to the college of his dreams. Being the only child of his parents, Nabeel’s father had decided to go along with him to the new city so that he could help him settle down. His mother decided to stay back home in Hyderabad with her in-laws.
The Best Medicine for all
Upon reaching Bangalore, they both started looking for a house that would require minimum commuting time from Nabeel’s college. As they finally decided upon one simple apartment in the nook of Mahalakshmi Enclave, Nabeel and his dad got busy with all the shifting and basic setting up of the house.
From picking up some basic second-hand furniture like a table, some chairs, and a bed, to stocking up on groceries and other things, everything had to be done within the next 2 days.
This was their first night in their new house. The day had flown by with all the deep cleaning followed by the shifting and setting up of the furniture in the house. They had ordered dinner from out and had decided to retire early as the next day was promising to be an equally hectic day.
Mr. Shaikh had retired to bed early. Nabeel wrapped up some of his work by replying to some emails and completing some last-minute college formalities, before catching up on a load of WhatsApp messages that he hadn’t seen or responded to, during the day. Suddenly, he saw his dad wake up and walk towards the table to have a drink of water. He looked visibly uneasy. Upon enquiring, Mr. Shaikh told Nabeel that he was having shooting pain in his back.
It was already past 2 am. The first time in a new city, with no knowledge of which medical shop would be open or clinic would be open to offering any kind of help at this time of the night, Nabeel was getting anxious. In a metro like Bangalore, he didn’t even know his neighbours well enough to go ask anyone for any medicine, let alone, so late at night. Struck by dire need, he did what most people his age resort to.
Nabeel quickly opened his smartphone and went to the Google search engine to find a medical store online nearby, as well as scout options for the best painkillers. As usual, Google flooded him with many options that were now slowly increasing his panic state. That is when he stumbled upon LoveLocal, the best online platform where everything was available at just a click of a button.
LoveLocal was super easy to understand with an extremely user-friendly interface, suitable for all generations. Listing out all trusted local retailers, medical stores, grocery stores, bakeries, and whatnot, close to their location, Nabeel wasn’t confused anymore. He could instantly source the best analgesic from a neighbourhood retailer, for the kind of pain his father was experiencing. This medical store had been known to be reliable and trustworthy for various customers. The medicines were delivered within no time at Nabeel’s doorstep and Mr Shaikh got instant relief.
Nabeel was thrilled to have known the power of LoveLocal – the all-friendly support platform for all types of groceries, medicines, essential commodities etc., any time of the day or night.
